Hi there! I am Kate and one of my favorite things about being a photographer is capturing the seasons of life that pass faster than we ever expect.
As a former teacher and coach, I can totally relate to how quickly the senior year season comes and goes. Sports seasons feel like they just begin before they’re suddenly over. And then there are the seasons that shape our everyday lives — the ones spent with our pets, who give us a lifetime of love in a season that’s far too short.
Education, sports, and animals have shaped so many seasons of my own life — and getting to walk alongside others as they live theirs is where the real magic happens.
Photography for me isn’t just a job — it’s a blessing, much like my career as a teacher.

My first full year in business was full of growth, discovery, new friendships, and accomplishments. I was able to go full-time and fill my calendar with amazing clients and adventures. In November, I learned I was a finalist in the PPA International Photography Competition.

I quickly realized I wanted to do more than just sports photography, so I launched my business. During that first year, I explored different areas and discovered the moments that truly excited me and made me feel alive behind the camera.

I took the leap of faith and left teaching to become Idaho State University's Hockey Club's marketing manager & photographer.

I decided to go back to school for my Master's in Athletic Administration and discovered sports photography

Heading into this year, I am beyond excited to offer dramatic sport portraits and continue to better my craft with seniors, pets, and sports. This year my goals will be to continue to learn, take chances, and create an unforgettable experiences for my clients!

My goal is that your session feels more like hanging out—and I just get lucky enough to document it! By the end, you’ll be thinking, “Wait… that was actually really fun and easy!”

Your experience with me isn’t just a book online, no communication prior to session, and then deliver a gallery. My mission is for you to be served at the highest level! I will get to know you and incorporate everything that makes this moment special into your session. I will guide you through locations, outfits, and flow of your session. Everything is handled so you can feel confident, comfortable, relaxed-and most importantly, have fun! Music, laughs, and memories included!

I love giving what I consider the best gift: a moment frozen in time you’ll cherish forever.
